01 About
Athlete, coach and
personal trainer
Sadem Benkacem works across artistic gymnastics, calisthenics and hybrid strength and conditioning. He has almost 15 years of coaching experience, including gymnastics at the NRBSM club in Algiers from 2015 through the 2018 season, and completed the World Calisthenics Organization’s StreetSport Level 1 and Level 2 courses in Dubai in 2019.
He competes in team obstacle and functional events at the Gov Games in the UAE, where he has led the Umm Al Quwain team, and in 2020 he was featured by Calisthenics World Records for 13 consecutive one-arm muscle-ups. He coaches one to one across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain, in English, Arabic and French.
He also holds a master’s degree in chemistry from USTHB in Algiers — a background that shows in how he structures and records training.
It all starts with the mindset. Before the first rep, before any plan, there is a decision — that you are done negotiating with yourself. My job is to hold you to that decision, session after session, until discipline is simply who you are. The body follows.

05 Approach
How Sadem
works
Strength is a decision you make before the first rep.
-
Skill before load
Positions and technique are trained first; weight and intensity come after the movement is solid.
-
Progressions, not shortcuts
Every skill is broken into steps, and each step is earned before the next one is introduced.
-
Structure you can measure
Sessions are planned and written down, so progress can be reviewed rather than guessed at.
-
Train the way you compete
Where there is an event to prepare for, training rehearses its demands, formats and pacing.
How it starts
- 1 Enquire.
- 2 A short conversation about goals, training history and injuries.
- 3 An assessment session.
- 4 A plan.
06 FAQ
Common
questions
-
Where does Sadem coach?
He coaches one to one across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain.

What does the coaching cover?
Four areas: calisthenics and bodyweight strength, gymnastics and movement skills, hybrid strength and conditioning, and competition preparation for obstacle and functional-fitness events.
-
Do I need experience to start?

English, Arabic and French.
-
What are his qualifications?
He completed the WCO StreetSport Calisthenics Level 1 and Level 2 courses in Dubai in 2019 and an initiator course in artistic gymnastics with the Algiers Gymnastics League in 2017, and coached gymnastics at the NRBSM club in Algiers from 2015 through the 2018 season. He also holds a master’s degree in chemistry from USTHB. In 2020 he set a world record of 13 consecutive one-arm muscle-ups, featured by Calisthenics World Records.
